I am very proud to announce that client MPCS has received certification to AS9100D from certifying body Intertek. MPCS chose to skip the interim QMS upgrade to ISO 9001 2015 and went straight from ISO 9001 2008 to AS9100D. The company had a solid quality foundation going in from many years of certification to prior revisions of the standard, and through the transition to AS9100D, MPCS realized significant process improvements and simplification of the QMS. QMS Manager John Rupp, GM Bob Denbo and the entire MPCS staff were an absolute delight to work with and pulled together to get the job done.
When asked about what it took to implement AS9100, president and founder Joseph Fehsenfeld shared “The AS9100 journey really challenged us as an organization because we went from ISO 2008 to AS9100D, but I truly believe it has made MPCS a much better company.”
